Yes, you can use Kubernetes with IBM AIX container technology. Got this running in my lab. I’m very interested to see what our customers can do with this capability.

“The following packages on AIX Open Source toolbox allows the use of AIX nodes as worker nodes in a Kubernetes cluster managed by IBM Cloud Private. The packages provides a set of services to manage containers and network(s) on AIX nodes and a set of commands to create and manipulate container images on AIX. Containers on AIX are implemented using Workload Partitions (WPARs)”.
